Who I am

Some of the work I have done is a little more abstract. This work all deals with personal relationships, my family, and transitions that have recently occured in my life It's a series relecting who I am as a person and how I've come to be that person. The piece to the right is an example of work created at a clients request. This piece commemorates the Cincinnati Bengals' "comback" season of 2003. It was created for a die-hard fan (my then boyfriend, now husband).

Primordial Soup

This series of pieces was created as a visual contemplation of the spiritual and intellectual conflict of religion and science. I also wrote a paper for an evolution class at Ohio Wesleyan on this subject. The class inspired my whole thought process that semester and it showed in my writing and my art. Texture & Shadow

This series was one of my first adventures with digital art. The pieces explore the different relationships between texture and shadow in the everyday world and how that can be beautiful simply by itself. They are constructed completely of pictures taken around town on a sunny day.
